Raynn Dangaran, Anne Roth and Hillary Luna of Lehua Hawaii Productions represented Hawaii Island with distinction at their state pageants last month in Honolulu.
Raynn was awarded the People’s Choice and Community Service awards and shared the Young Miss Hawaii Junior High School title.
Roth won the Interview competition and the Community Service award, placing as first runner-up in the Miss Hawaii High School division.
Luna placed second runner-up in the Collegiate division.
Chamry DeMotta, Miss Teen Lehua Hawaii first princess, also was invited to the state pageant, where she performed her award-winning slam poem.
Their program was titled “From Bud to Lehua Blossom.” The pageant provides young women the opportunity to showcase their talents and develop public speaking and interview skills, poise and self-confidence while creating lasting friendships.
Lehua Hawaii Productions welcomes new contestants for the 2016 pageant. The Young Miss division is for girls ages 10-13 and the Teen division is for contestants ages 14-17.
